Interviewing at Groundswell

Our interviews are conversational with the goal of getting to you know you (perspective, style and motivations) and your experience (skills, talent and lessons learned) so that we can ensure a two-way fit.

Every role on the team is critical and every person helps shape our culture and the future of our company so we’re very thorough and thoughtful throughout the interview process. We want you to know what to expect and hope you have fun as you get to know our team.

    Apply online: We’ll review your application and you’ll usually hear back from us if it is a fit within 3 days.

    Phone Interview: The first step is always a phone conversation, which helps our recruiting team bring your resume to life. Again, we want to get to know you!

    Zoom Interview: The second step is a video interview with our hiring manager. This is an opportunity to dive into the role and specific technical expertise it requires. It’s also a great opportunity to ensure a fit with management and leadership style.

    Technical Assessment: For most roles, we hold a 60-minute working session or short take-home assignment/engineering test that is discussed live.

    On-Site Interview: Our final interview is always on-site so candidates can get a taste of life at Groundswell and meet the rest of our team.
