In 2020, while leading the prominent nonprofit Team Rubicon, Groundswell’s CEO Jake Wood had a profound realization: although the desire to give was abundant, the means to do so efficiently was lacking in the corporate world. Distribution delays, funding restrictions, and fees were creating significant challenges for nonprofits.
Enter Groundswell. Built to be a system that not only facilitates but also accelerates and personalized corporate philanthropy. Since our start in 2021, we've envisioned a platform where anyone can be a philanthropist, empowered to support causes they’re passionate about, free from the red tape and delays of traditional methods. Groundswell is all about bringing heart back into corporate giving.
